Summary:

The successful candidate will receive full product training to enable them to confidently work with all types of renewable energy products.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Renewables Estimator:
- Sourcing and targeting a variety of projects and providing accurate and effective estimates where applicable
- Ability to assess project plans, materials, labour costs and other related project expenses including system equipment distribution packages to support our distributor elements
- Responsible for ensuring all estimates are accurate and complete, keeping the team informed on progress
- Attend walk through meetings and site meetings to determine project scope, inspect & analyse specifications, drawings and other information to prepare time, cost, materials and labour for projects
- Consult with clients and/or their agents, vendors
- Review material and labour requirements, to determine the most cost-effective solution, assistant Project Manager’s with to plan for projects and the associated timeline for completion.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of cost information and monitor industry trends
Experience Required:
- 2 years’ experience of working in a Mechanical and/or Electrical estimating or design role
- 2 years’ experience within Construction / Renewable energy experience (preferred)
- Design capabilities (preferred)
- Specifications and drawings experience (preferred)
